Want to be the most popular recorder player on the block?

Seriously – you’ll never lack for ensemble opportunities if you have a decent bass recorder you can play. Isn’t it time you learned to read bass clef anyway?

Luckily, I have a mint-condition pearwood Heinrich Meister bass recorder in F, direct-blow, with double F-F# key, that needs a good home. Bought new in 2004, discontinued by manufacturer but remaining stock instruments currently retail for $1243 U.S. (and up!), it can be yours for just $685 Cdn (plus shipping, if outside Winnipeg). Includes: neck strap, cork grease, swab, custom fingering chart from original retailer, AND a Jakob Winter deluxe fitted hardshell case that sells for $197 U.S. separately. Fully chromatic through two octaves, needs some skill with the very top notes but an excellent consort instrument for those Renaissance dances you’ve been hankering to play. A once-in-a-lifetime deal, just in time for Xmas!

Please email teragramm at shaw dot ca if interested.
